Our mission at Blue Ridge Homesteaders is simply this – to bring together like minded folks who are, or who want to be, as self sufficient as possible in today’s world. We want to share and receive knowledge so that we can sustain ourselves, if need be, from our own land.
What does that look like? It can be a container vegetable garden on an apartment balcony or it can be an orchard as big as a football field. It can be a vegetarian/vegan homestead or a small cattle ranch. It can be wherever we are on our own roads to sustainability. We make no judgments and we ask that no judgments be made. We all have something to offer and we can all learn from others.
